Neighbours conservatory built over my land

    Loft Specialists

I want an extension myself. Does he need to remove his conservatory? Also his trees are on the fence line. He said its been built on his side.

"If the conservatory is built on your land then it has been built illegally. You might have to take him to court to have it removed unless you have a good solicitor then it can be sorted out of court."

"Your neighbour shouldn’t be able to build anything on your land. It’s a tricky one though, you should check your deeds to identify exactly what is your land and what is his."

"You need to hire a survey company. It could be a party wall, the best thing to do planning permission it will tell you everything."

"Yes, if it is on your land then they have to remove their conservatory.

The tree I guess if you want a fence there then you have the right to remove it but do check with you local authority."
