Multi-purpose lawn rakes

Are different rakes necessary for the lawn or is there one that's suitable for all maintenance jobs?

"I really like my Bulldog plastic lawn and leaf rake, it does most jobs just fine. For moss removal I tend to use my Bulldog springbok rake. I hope that helps."

"You can use a multi purpose rake for your lawn you don’t want to use a heavy rake as this can damage your grass"

"Hey Lynda. We usually find that a fine multi pronged rake usually does the job. Raking the lawn with this usually allows you to removed all the dead grass allow new grass to come through so although once raked it may look a little bare, it is ultimately for the greater good which in this instance would be a lush green space"

"Hi there is no need to use different rakes for you lawn and I find if you use a plastic lawn/leaf rake you actually take out more grass, I would highly recommend the bulldog sprinbok lawn rake 48”, I’ve always used this and I maintain a lot of small and large gardens. Hope this was of some help, the cheapest is from toolstation."

"Yes several rake types are useful for the lawn but I find the most useful is the wire or springbok rake, it is made of wire in the shape of a fan."
