"Replace the rubber washer on the swivel just unscrew turn the head of the swivel and replace rubber insert washer."

"The joint between the tap and spout in most kitchen faucets usually contains a plastic ring and a rubber 'O' ring. Replacing the rubber 'O' ring might stop the leak, but it's often more reliable to use a specific spout seal kit. Identifying the tap through a Google image search is crucial for ordering the correct kit. Despite having the option to fix it, my recommendation is to consider getting a new tap for a more effective solution."

"The junction between the tap and the spout on most kitchen taps contains both a plastic ring and a rubber 'O' ring. Sometimes (if you can get the spout off which is usually secured by a fixing of some sort to the rear) you can replace the rubber 'O' ring (I have hundreds of these on the van) and the leak will stop. From many years of experience this more often fails than works unless you have the specific spout seal kit. Easy enough if you can identify the tap. A google image search can sometimes work in identifying the tap. Once Identified it's just a case of ordering the correct kit. My advice....you'd probably be better off with a new tap."

"There are usually what we call tap bodies inside, the cartridge, and it's usually them or the washers the little rubber ones inside that have worn with the constant swiveling of the tap over the years. sometimes it's just because it's a cheap tap and better than replacing the whole tap.
Hope this helps

"The cartridges have small rubber! with the time pass the water passes through is very dirty (made Limescale)this limescale could stack inside to cartridge between rubber and plastic that’s why time to time needs been cleaned with special chemicals"
