Leaking Mono Mixer tap

I have a Wilkes Siranne Mono Mixer tap on my bathroom sink. It's from about 2013 and has two rectangular knobs.
The hot side is leaking and it likes to sing quite a bit.
I've removed the screw, but cannot get the handle off.
Is it worth attempting a replacement of the cartridge, or just go for a new tap?
Thanks

"I would personally get a new tap the cost of the cartridge is about £5-10 the cost of the tap about £30 so your only saving around £20 but you have something new also all of the cartridge are different sizes so you may not be able to get the correct one or be trying for ages to get the correct one"

"You can replace the cartridge but would be better to replace the tap better cost affected in the long run"

"As it's over Ten years old, I would just just update it. As mentioned, the cost difference is small."

"If you can’t get the handle off two new cartridges and handles may be cheaper than a whole new tap depending which style you go for"

"If it’s a struggle to remove the handle then it could very well be a struggle to get a new cartridge to seal so probably worth getting a new tap."

"I would go for a new tap as through my experience
Especially if you are in a hard water area"

"Good morning.
If you'd like to spray some WD-40 inside the cartridge it might loosen it up a bit but if you still cannot get it removed you might damage the main body so I might be worth completely buying a new one but giving it a little tap around the edges should loosen up so you can get it out"

"New taps 100%. as the handles calcify onto the body so can be vary dificult to get apart. without damaging the tap"
