Labour for new patio

I already have paving flags and want to have a patio laid on my lawn,what should I expect to pay for labour and materials?
The area is 18msq.

"The only way to get the best quotes are find people from your area and keep in control of your budget ie for materials ask them (contractors) to use there suppliers and u pay the suppliers directly and never pay any money upfront a good contractor will not ask for money upfront nor will deny you the opportunity to use their supplier to get trade deals"

"It depends what kind of slabs you have and how they would need to be laid but if they were standard paving slabs it would cost between £350 to£450"

"1 tonne of sharp sand will do around 4msq, you would need i would say 5 tonnes for this job. sharp sand comes at around £60-£70 per tonne and a day or 2 labour starting from around £240 per day. Hope this helps!"

"I would do this for around £1250 for labour alone. It would be more depending if more materials are needed."
