Keeping loft conversion costs down

What jobs can I do myself when it comes to a loft conversion? I'm quite good at DIY and want to keep costs down.

"Unfortunately ther isn’t away for you to do any works in loft space to keep cost down as I wouldn’t be able to guarantee works at end of project unless we do project start to finish"

"You may be able to do the insulation and rockwool which would relive some cost"

"I would say get the floor done properly and safe and the electrics in then do the walls and roof your self"
