Joiner or window fitter?

If I'm planning to have wood frame windows installed, would it be better to use a window company or a joiner?

Definitely a joiner would be best to use in case of any altering a joiner will be fully equipped for the job

Personally I would use a carpenter not a window fitted.. they are used more to plastic Upvc windows

It boils down with experience. Why not a joiner fit a window?? And even some painter and decorators could.

Good afternoon. I would suggest to go with a company and put pvc aluminium. Its better than wood.

A carpenter/ joiner would be more benefit, as they may need to get a better finish on the inside window boards etc. you may also need to patch plaster the inside reveals.

Personally i would use an experienced joiner as in the past when companies who survey the site can miss little things out which a joiner would pick up on.

This depends on the windows you want installed. Both can do the job, the window company may be better for standard off the shelf windows, the joiner also can do this, but also can make and fit bespoke non standard windows hope this helps.
