How to hide radiator pipes in wall?

We’re redecorating and the pipes running down to the radiator look really messy. Wondering what’s actually involved in hiding them properly from experts and if there are any downsides to it?

"Hi
They can be boxed in or chased into the wall. There’s no difference in performance; it’s just down to appearance."

"It’s not easy but you can channel out a deep ish groove in the wall behind where the pipes are now cut them off and resolder them back together recessed then fill over them and done the wall gets heated by the pipes so there’s a bit of an added heat sink"

"You can hide the flow and return to your radiators, ie chase out or in a studded wall, the pipes have to be insulated and ran in zones, the only downside is if they are fitted poorly ie incorrectly, you then have the danger is they aren’t fitted in zones of a customer or tradesman penetrating the pipe work, and if they aren’t insulated you can have excess corrosion pipe banging and much more, the benefit is it’s looks much neater, but I do like a good 15mm bend on pipe work and professional soldering."

"Hiding radiator pipes in the brick wall you have chase them into the wall and insulating. If you have partition wall you can fit pipes between the studs properly clip them and insulate. Downside risk of leaks within the wall, and reduced access for repairs."

"You will have to cut out a brickwork and plaster channel (chase) say 50mm wide 30mm deep with angle grinder and hammer and chisel.
Pin back pipes cover pipes with tape for protection and replaster."

"You can box them in to hide them or chase the wall out. No benefits to either just what you prefer visually."
