Firebird combi xceed oil boiler
I recently fitted a new boiler i have limited knowledge when the mains water is turned on and the filling loop is disconnected the boiler pressure continues to rise any help as to whats wrong please

"If you’re referring to the pressure rising when it’s in use that’s completely normal. Pressure will rise as the flow and returns get up to temperature.
If it’s rising without the boiler being in use, I’d assume that the cold mains has been mistakenly piped into the flow and return pipework somewhere."

"I would suggest getting a engineer to look at it, as it seems its been piped up wrong the gauge is rising, possibly cold pipe connected to flow or return"
