Laminate Flooring Installation For Flat
Unfortunately although the other company gave me cheaper price i decided to go with brc flooring, I should mention he come as he said to measure everything and give us price £1450 including all materials and labour including LVT on kitchen, we are stress for moving house and a lot going on on the house with short notice from us he arrange to come and start the job , before start he call and ask for £500 deposit which is very unprofessional at start i not accept this he gets upset I'm the first customer not paying deposit before start, ok he arrange come over around 7 in the morning turn up around 11 and said sorry I'm busy and move my customer because of your short notice start to finish 2 bed and small hallway just around 3 hours ask for payment I just trust and pay him £700 and he leave and give us next week come back to finish job ,exact 3 days after when meny time I messaged him and call him without any response he messaged sorry I was busy can I ask the job price need £280 gets more because he forgot to add LVT materials to the quotation and because of his mistake I need just pay £250 i said mate we agreed with price and I cant getting more on this please back and finish job. He said ok Monday morning i coming to finish the job ,from morning on Monday till afternoon he not answering any call and messages in day after he messaged involves his girlfriend in hospital apologies and I coming to finish the job week pass no show up ever not answering the messages and call finally come back with many excuses which is I'm still in hospital etc. Dishonest trade ever in my life i wish put zero star to this business not reliable at all not responding at all. Also accused me im rudest customer in his shorts trade life also put more on my shoulder he did much more than I paid witch is completely nonsense.
Brc flooringIn response to this review, I’d like to write back and say that within 4 years of being a sole trader I have never once taken a job without receiving a deposit for the materials. But for this customer I made an exception. Never once have I turned up to fit a whole upstairs in laminate in a house with not even 24hours notice even though when I arrived to do the quote, I told him the diary was busy and you needed to select a date to avoid missing out and not being able to get your flooring done, yet again for this customer I made the exception. Because he and his family was moving into a new home and luckily for this man I had other customers who was understanding enough for me to squeeze this job in also. When he was told about my girlfriend being poorly and needing assistance by myself he simply didn’t care and told me my business won’t work doing stuff like this and I’m a dishonest tradesmen along with numerous other names, the list goes on. I was nothing but apologetic for the situation and explained everything to him in detail, again the only concern of his was the job which I explained that I understand his frustrations, but it’s out of my hands. Told him when my girlfriend was back on her feet that I’d happily go back finish the job but he just wanted to call me names at that point, threatened me with legal action even though I told him I could provide him the receipts for the material cost and the price per SQM for installation was the remaining cost from the £700 that he had paid. I’d also like to add the following; If anyone reads this review and thinks that I will completing any job’s without receiving deposits then I can assure you that won’t will never happen. Notice how in the review there’s isn’t a single note about poor craftsmanship? My work is professional and affordable, Ive built a trust over a 4 years of working for myself and have never once cheated a customer out of money so to be accused of such a thing even though I’ve offered to provide all the evidence of cost’s is mind blowing. He’s angry that I won’t leave my girlfriend who’s in need of assistance to complete his job and now he’s doing anything he can to ruin my business. Many thanks for Ben at BRCFLOORINH
