Repair Plaster and Paint Wall
I would not recommend this contractor based on my experience. I was quoted for a small repair to a section of wall measuring less than half a metre where the paint was peeling. I was told that around £75 of the cost was for materials which i paid upfront. I asked several times, including before the work started, for receipts for these materials. I was repeatedly told they would be provided, but I was later informed that the receipts had been "lost". After checking the prices myself, I found the materials did not appear to cost anywhere near the amount I had been charged. Before the work was even completed, I was asked to pay the full amount. When I questioned why full payment was being requested before the agreed work had been finished, I was told that this was not what had been meant, despite the messages suggesting otherwise. When I asked for the work to be completed as originally agreed, I received messages threatening to return and destroy the work that had already been carried out. I have retained all of the text message correspondence relating to this matter. Overall, I was left with little confidence in the honesty, professionalism or reliability of the service I received.
