"You need to water the turf every day for the first 3-4 weeks .
In the first week 2-3 times a day .
Unless there is heavy rain .
In the summer when hot
You would need to water 2-3 times for the fist 2 weeks .
The turf is mostly water so look out for signs of wilting as this will indicate water shortage ."

"Don’t over water it if newly laid. Once a day for a week then when and if it wants it"

"Hi , evening works best as the water evaporates quicker during the day so done in the early evening after the sun has come off the area works best as it has chance to soak right into the root system 😬"

"Yes — morning is generally best. It gives the turf time to absorb water before heat builds, and the grass dries during the day, which helps reduce disease risk. Evening watering can leave it damp overnight.

For new turf, the key is keeping the soil underneath consistently moist while it roots, rather than little frequent sprinkles. Better to water deeply in the morning (and in hot weather maybe a light second watering later if needed) than waste water with shallow watering."

"Yes, morning vs. evening watering makes a significant difference for new turf, with early morning being the superior choice to establish roots quickly without wasting water or encouraging disease. While evening watering is better than not watering at all, morning watering is considered best practice"
