How much does furniture repair cost?

The removal company cracked a leg on our oak dining table and put a deep scratch across the top. They've told us to get a repair quote. What would a repair like that typically cost?

"It all depends on the crack ?
Send photos that would help with pricing cost?
Thanks"

"Unfortunately without seeing it in person nobody is going to be able to accurately answer this question

The crack in the leg depends where and the structure of the leg.

The scratch depends on the size of the table. They will most likely sand the entire top and re finish

Sorry for being unhelpful ."

"Crack in legg ,it depends how bad it is and the finish of the table as it would need refinishing. The deep scratch could possibly make the table a right off if it’s really deep as it would need sanding out ( only if it’s possible to do so ).Then depending on the finish ,it would need refinishing ,possibly the entire table as it’s very difficult to blend in laquers and stains without showing colour variation marks .So as you can see ,very difficult to quantify ,especially without seeing it in person ."

"Leg repair, average £140. Depends on size, what quality you after etc, but around £140-180
Scratch, size, length depth are all factors to affect price, but simple 4 to 6 inch scratch, colour and base, labour's, I'd charge £80~120."

"Hi there, we’d be happy to give you some advice! With the oak leg, it’s dependent on how big the crack is, also the size of the timber affected. The costing will vary between companies, whether they come from different areas etc. Please see the below, this is how we tend to help clients understand the costing.

Repairs

Typical cost

Repair/reconstruct cracked leg

£150–£300

Repair deep scratch & colour-match

£70–£250

Sand/refinish entire tabletop if required

£100–£650

Collection/delivery if needed

£50–£120"
