How many shovels are in a standard bag of cement?

Everyone seems to talk in shovels and half bags but I can’t tell what that translates to in real life. So what I hope is a simple question: how many shovels are in a bag of cement? And how heaped is that?

"25kg (approx. 55lb) bag of cement generally contains about 4 to 6 large, heaped shovels. For a standard, consistent mix, using a bucket to measure volume is more precise than using a shovel"

"A 25kg bag will be about 6 large shovels or just over a bucket if you are using this."

"Shovels are a terrible way to guage as it can vary by how much you've got on the shovel each time.

I prefer to use a bucket of I'm not weighing for precision,
Typically 1 bucket of sand is around 25kg ISH so for a 4:1 ratio it's 2 buckets/mini bags of sand to half a bag of cement i.e. 50kg sand 12.5 kg cement, hope this helps"

"hard to say really but, there is fourty bags of sand to 1 ton and about three spade full to 1 bag, so approx hundred & twenty spade full"

"A 25kg bag of cement is roughly 8–10 level shovels or about 6–8 heaped shovels, depending how full you load it. That’s why it’s better to measure cement by the bag and sand/ballast by shovels or buckets to keep the mix consistent."

"4-6 depending on heap and shovel size so this could vary, normal for a standard build it’s 4 buckets of sand to 1 bucket of cement"
