WET WALL & PLASTER

Thx everyone who replied

I used a dehumidifier when the leak happened
The room still feels as cold as it did prior to the re plastering and cowboy job.

1. If If I get an appropriate size dehumidifier will that solve the problem?
2. Worse case scenario.. of o have to remove the plaster, can I just remove from one side of the wall and then use a dehumidifier to draw out any remaining moisture?

"Hi Fatima, sorry to hear you've had bad work. It could be two things, firstly the wall wasn't dry enough before plastering, and now the moisture has been sandwiched and will take a long time to dry. When we've had issues with walls getting wet from leaks, we've taken off the plaster and left the bricks for about 3 months to fully dry before re plastering. Sadly I think you need to take off the plaster and let the bricks, or blocks to fully dry.
