Cost to convert two flats back into one house
We're looking at a victorian terrace that was split into two flats decades ago and want to return it to a single home. What sort of budget should we allow for something like this? I know it's difficult without seeing it, so just something rough would help. Anyone got experience doing this too, looking for insight on things to watch out for in the process

This is a very difficult question to answer seeing as they're maybe administrative costs involved as well as legal. From a builders point of view, if there are two kitchens, consumer units, separate heating systems etc, you could be looking at £60k. If there is just one shared kitchen and consumer unit, and the flats are in fairly good condition, you could budget for around £35k. Hope this helps. Dwayne."

"Wow back to one house Ok, so from my experience check the legal and structural side of things first, once that is done fully I would say about 30K."
