For a hedge installation, do they have to grow or can existing hedges be added to a garden space?

"You can plant any hedge at any time. The older the hedge, the more instant impact it will have - but it will need looking after, regular watering and protecting from wind.
Younger plants will be easier and cheaper, but will take time to fill out."

"You would benefit from starting the hedge from fresh"

"Usually if you have some grown ones in your garden and you wand to use them for hedge, yes you can and just replant them. Or buy already grown ones ( it's more expensive solutions) or buy small one in vases and replant in the area you want to be your hedge"
