Getting the temperature of loft conversion right

What are the most important things to include in a loft conversion to stop it being too hot or cold?

"regulation says 270mm rockwool or 150mm Celotex, that usually do the trick. Spray on insulation if you have a budget for it is second best. But of course best money spent is AC in lofts along with regulations..."

"All the regulations on insulation increased in June so so long as it’s done correctly you should have warmer rooms in winter and cooler rooms in summer"

"If your loft conversion is insulated sufficiently it will stop it getting hot in summer and colds in winter. Also good ventilation will be neede such as windows or doors"

The key is good insulation supported with good ventilation both to let heat out and fresh air in. So roof ventilation and quality glazed windows. All of this needs to be backed up with good heating system. You could also consider installing a air con system
