Garden window box planter

Question

I'm building a planter around my existing fence. I am using 3 inch fence posts approximately 60 cm high and 20 cm going into the ground. I will the be fixing decking board to the posts 5 high. Would I need 1 bag of postcrete on each post. I thought 1/2 a bag would be plenty

Hi John i would imagine half to 3/4 of a bag if your putting them in 20cm, i usually use 2 to 3 bags for fence posts but we usually dig them in about 2ft. So i would recommend 1/2 to 3/4s of a bag per post.

Me personally I'd use 1 bag per post. They can never be too secure

Half a bag would be fine buddy, a whole bag would be extremely excessive.

I would use one bag of Postcrete in each post. It's better to do a proper job that will last for years

Half a bag would do in my opinion  because its being protected by the fence

A bag and a half dose 600mm 2 foot so half a bag will do 200mm 20cm so yes half a bag
