Fibreglass bath

How often should a fibreglass bath be reglazed? And are they likely to get chips and grazes over time, if so how long do these usually start to show, we are in an area of hardwater

"Hi the only bath that I know of that is refurbished is a cast iron bath.
All others are just replaced."
