Expected Quote For An External Door

Question

I have an external hardwood door which needs replacing, this includes fitting a new door frame, letterbox, locks and also an extra panel on top of the door and a 2” x 1” pain of glass to be inserted I’d like to know roughly how much I should expect to be charged for this job (excluding parts). Thank you

Hi you would expect to pay around £160 upwards.  It's a good days work for and one man.

I would say around 800-1000 denpending in the opening size

This sort of job is quite a big one compared to internal doors. Labour to replace the above  I'd say around 200 - 250 pound. Hope this helps ang good luck with the work

If you have joiner removing original door and frame plus fitting new this should be in and around £150-£180. For labour
