"The eve protectors are meant to go under the roof felt its just a better way to do them but will still work either way ."

"Hi,

Yes — in most standard roof build-ups, the undercloak at the verge should overlap and sit on top of the eaves protector (or eaves support tray). This ensures that any water running down the verge or beneath the verge tiles is properly directed into the guttering system, rather than behind the fascia or under the tiles.

Correct sequencing at the eaves and verge junction is important to maintain proper drainage and prevent damp ingress. If the undercloak or eaves protector are incorrectly lapped, it can lead to trapped moisture or staining along the verge.

"Yes Katy,
The under cloak should be on top of the eaves protection trays which in turn should drop into the gutter.
Many thanks

"No your eaves will go up to the cement board as mortar will have to sit on the cement board eaves will go under your felt and into your gutter"
