Double Socket Situation

Your question is awaiting moderation by the MyJobQuote team.

I've got a double socket located in my front room, it has a PC and monitor plugged into it.

Two days ago the switch broke so that one side would default back to the on position.

I took it apart (after isolating etc.) and saw it was all worn inside (been in house ten years and never had it changed)

I replaced it yesterday with a new socket front and it was fine until the evening when it all happened again.

I had an electrician out today to check and they said it was probably a poor/faulty socket and replaced it again.

A day later... it's happened again. Any ideas would be appreciated before I put anymore money into it.

I'm pretty confident it's not the devices as they've been in other rooms for varying lengths of time with no issues

Cheers
