Difference of rules of Scottish electrician

I am based in Glasgow and would like to know how the rules regarding electrical safety certificates & PAT tests differ between England and Scotland? Are there any rules/requirements that cover the whole of the UK? And what is unique to Scotland versus the rest of the UK?

"Part P applies to England and Wales, but they have different building regulations. Part P doesn't apply to Scotland as they have the Building Standards system."

"They are the same rules. There are no different rules between U.K. and Scotland about electrical installation."
