Curved ceilings lots of condensation

Hello, I’m wondering if you have any advice. My house had curved ceilings upstairs, which the last two winters have had bad condensation/water once it gets cold outside. Is this made worse by putting the heating on? The house is very cold particularly on the one side, which sees the worst of the condensation.

From previous advice it’s something to do with a large uninsulated gap where the curve has been put into the ceilings. Do you have any advice long term and short term?

Thank you,
Emily

"It’s a volted ceiling so so depending on where they are you could get them insulated and try adding vents in the attic area around the problem to vent out the hot air that’s getting trapped up there"

"Hello by the sound of it, it appears you may need a felt job done. Possibly water is run back in house causing damp from roof. Possible new felt is required. £4400"

"This is possibly the cause although there are a few other potential causes. Fill the gaps with lagging and/or add roof vents. Breathable felt helps although this is usually installed with a reroof .
The cause is due to warm humid air coming in to contact with cold surfaces releasing moisture ."

""It’s most likely a volted ceiling so you could. Put some vents in to help stop the condensation and damp."

"The likleyhood is cold spots due to uninsulated areas where the hot air is hitting the cold spots, generally this will be worse the colder it.gets , solution is to insulate the cold.spots , and stop.the cold air getting to these areas"

"I would advise you to make the ceiling with ceiling panels - firstly, it will look beautiful, secondly, it will certainly hide any unevenness and even if there are some stains on the ceiling, they will never turn out ugly yellow. stains on the ceiling because the panels are plastic, the installation takes place in one day and it's done and the costs are also low"

"I would definitely have an housing inspector come out to asses this because if house wasn't properly insulated you will not be liable for costs"
