fill gap behind the skirting board
I have taken out the old skirting board, and I have found loose plaster and a big gap, and I can see the brick in some places. How do I fill the gap to be ready to fit a new skirting board? What sort of material to be used, and need to apply any sort of PVA before filling the gap? Is it going to be flush to the wall plaster or leave a gap for glue/nail? Will it be done before the flooring is done?
