Cost of turfing lawn

Question

The side of my rear garden had a membrane and small stones. The membrane had worn down and weeds took over. Both have been removed ( albeit some small stones in soil) . The ground has been tilled and most weeds removed.
Still needs to be made level. .

I am trying to work out costs for a turfing option vs seeding.
I would like quotes to include a breakdown of cost of turf and labour.
The size of the area is approx 100m2.

Lawn can be delivered easily to the front. There is side access to the rear garden . There is ample parking with no restrictions.

Decent turf is £4 a metre roll up. I tend to level the area with some fresh and decent topsoil that's been screened. Two days, for two people if including extra topsoil.
Or two people for one day if they are just laying the turf

For an accurate quote I would have to see the job in hand.
I would be happy to view it then get back to you with a quote.
Generally speaking grass seed would probably be cheaper than turfing taking into account that seeding takes time where turf instant garden.
Plus you need to take in to conciliation what quality turf you want want all depends on the pricing

Hi to turf this area you would be looking at around £550 to £600 depending of the quality of soil

All depends on area covered and time taken to level the ground and turf it as well as price of turf itself from manufacturers or suppliers

As the ground is unlevel you would be best to skim the top layer of soil and then put down some sharp sand and compact to
Making sure ground is level at same time then lay the turf on top Labour costs with us at P.J.R Property services would be at a rate of £130 a day would take 3-4 days (dependant on how much ground work needs doing first) and turf would be anything from £290 upwards dependant on the turf you would like as there is many different types and grades of turf available

To make good, provide labour and turf I would charge around £1100.

I would normally quote this at about £600 that would be £270 plus delivery charge £30 the rest would be labour and fitting
