Old oven is a plug in, but the new one which we like has to be wired
How much roughly would it cost to install the correct circuit

"Hi, it might not need a new circuit, if you have an existing supply 2.5mm cable to the existing oven you can just change the outlet from a double / single socket to a 20amp double pole switch with a flex outlet plate. I would charge £100-140 inc materials."

"Hi
It's hard to give a price without looking at the job.It all depends on where the consumer unit is, if there's room for a new fuse and how the cable is going to be run

"Answering from a blind perspective, you could be looking at around £1,000. But I must stress this is a figure with no factual basis. I would to get a more factual answer, have a engineer attend to survey the length, discuss the cable route options with you, discuss the positioning of the control gear and the outlet point(s). after obtaining this, an engineer would be able to provide you a clear precise quote. As these works are notifiable, ensure you can get a "Electrical installation certificate" and "Building Control Certificate" once works are complete."

"This is all dependent on a lot of factors, type of property, layout, accessibility and cable route"

"The cost typically ranges from £300 to £450, excluding materials. The final price depends on factors such as the distance to your fuse box, available space inside the fuse box for the new circuit, and whether you want the cables hidden. I hope this works for you."

"1 Before the wiring can be done a few things must be establish . The power consumption of the appliance is it the same as the other one are not. IF the power is more than a new circuit may be needed and a work certificate . cost very between £120 and pending ."

"More information would be required to gauge a figure for this. If the oven is hardwired, then I would assume that this has a higher kW rating. Depending on what is already installed at your property, you could be looking at a simple outlet swap or a new circuit from your consumer unit. Anybody installing a new oven will need to check the wiring type, size and current rating to ensure it is going to cope with your new requirements."

"If it’s a 6mm 32amp supply depending on the length of the run with about £200 in materials if there’s an RCBO to add and around £200 in labour if there’s carpets and floor boards to life etc"

"Hi, I hope you are keeping well; it depends on how the l consumer unit like how war it is, so keep the distance in mind and the correct cable size and outlet point. Roughly cost varies between £250 to £400."
