"as wood is very expensive- since lockdown also it is not very modern, in fact people are removing dado rails! A 2m dado rail would cost approx £7 but if you buy in bulk you could save about 10%"

"The cost of a section of dado rail can vary depending on various factors such as the material, length, design, and manufacturer. Here are some general price ranges for dado rails:

MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) dado rails typically range from $1 to $5 per linear foot or around $10 to $50 per 8-foot section.
Pine dado rails can cost between $2 to $10 per linear foot or $20 to $80 per 8-foot section.
Hardwood dado rails like oak or maple can cost between $5 to $20 per linear foot or $50 to $160 per 8-foot section.
Plaster dado rails can cost around $30 to $50 per linear foot or $240 to $400 per 8-foot section.
It's important to note that these are just general price ranges and that the actual cost of a dado rail may vary depending on the specific product and the retailer. It's always a good idea to shop around and compare prices from different sources to find the best deal"
