Converting garage flat roof to a pitched roof. Need advice

We’re looking at doing a garage roof conversion and not sure what’s involved in changing the roof shape. Do you need planning permission for that? What's the cost for a garage roof conversion?

"Usually changing complete new roof structure will possibly need planning permission. Depending on the height of the new roof this may be done under permitted development

Costs will be anywhere between 3-6 thousand"

"As previously answers this all depends on a few small but minor details
Height
Size
Material
Area
These can all make price vary it would be impossible to give a quote even ruff one unless size and materials are specified"
