Chimney stack removal

Can I conduct repairs and remove both my tall chimneys stacks on my roof at the end on my roof (2 storey detached house) without having to gain access to my neighbours property and erecting scaffolding over my neighbours adjacent flat garage roof which is structurally weak?
Can I carry out my 2 chimney removals safely by erecting scaffolding solely on my side of my property?

"Good afternoon
This would need a visit to your home in order to give an accurate response. Certainly scaffolding would be required to remove chimneys.
Best regards Steve"

"The simple answer is yes, although the structure of the scaffold will be a larger foot print on your boundary. Which obviously involves more cost to the overall job.
Hope this helps

"Hi I personally have taken plenty of chimney stacks down without a scaffolding. So I’d say it’s more then doable. All we usually do is set my scaffold tower and pop the cat ladder on the roof and work from that.
It would be better to see them in person to be able to explain how it would be done and asses them in size. Where there’s will there’s a way."

"Yes of course you can, you can have the scaffold built on your property, and erect a “canter lever” to extend the bay at top to cover the area needed for the chimney to be stripped down."

"Yes Louis, scaffolding doesn't have to be 5+ boards wide, your personal access space is sufficient and scaffolder will supply and fit relevant protection to your neighbours roof for any debris likely to fall."

"Without getting eyes on your roof I expect you can easily get round not up setting your neighbour buy erecting scaffolding on your side only an then yes the work can be carried out safety"

"Should be possible with scaffold at your side only"
