Will I need planning permission to have a garden observatory installed? I’ve been searching online and I have found one that I’m interested in. I’m considering having one fitted with a height of 2.5 metres. Is this the sort of job that can be done without planning permission or will I require approval? If the latter is true, briefly, how do I go about the process of getting approval?
