Cost to repair a chip in double glazing

a stone from the mower has chipped one of my double glazed panes. can it actually be repaired or does the whole unit need replacing, and roughly what does it cost

Glass is weakened once chipped. It's standard practice to replace if damaged as soon as you can. Glass panes aren't as expensive as you think. Its hard to give a price without a size but it won't be anymore than 100. Check if it has a kite mark on it as that is toughened glass and is more expensive than standard float glass.

If unit is smashed it would need replacing as units is made a 1 say 4.20.4

Can’t really replace a chip because over time the chip will split .
It’s like a car windscreen once chipped will crack further.

Jyst replace the double glazed unit .
Jyst need to remove the glazing beads and add a new double glazed unit

That would depend on the size of the unit where it’s situated and what kind of unit as triple A rated gas filled glass would be the best option it is possible to repair but depends on the chip and where its situated on the unit your best option would be to replace the unit as if it is repairable it would need to be buffed out again if it’s actually possible
