Can you put a cat flap in a window

We want to give the cat access to the garden but we don't have a suitable door. Would it be possible to fit a cat flap into a low window pane? Is this something a glazier can do?

"Yes it will require a new double glazed unit with hole then the Catflap fitting retrospectively"

"Yes, you can put a cat flap in glass. Firstly, have a new piece of glass cut with the same size & the hole cut out for the cat flap. This need too be a Double glazed unit."
