Sash window cord repair cost
The cord has snapped on two of our sashes and the windows won't stay open any more. Is that a cheap fix? House is Victorian if that matters.
Is it possible to have a church-styled window installed?
Is it possible to have a church-styled window installed at the front of my converted loft space (thus facing out from the front of the property at the top)? Will I need special approval for this? I want to change the style of the window of course but also the shape to a sword-tip shape like that of a cathedral. I want it to be colourful and to feature an in-depth design.

One side of lantern glass is siding down and need to be fixed. First time it was little and a tape was suggested which worked until glass slide more. What is recommended to fix this permanently?

Hi, would I need a structural engineer if I’m changing a window into a patio door, but the door would be the same width as the window was so wouldn’t be altering the width or replacing the lintel etc. Thank you
Can you put a cat flap in a glass door?
We've got a uPVC back door with a double glazed panel and want to add a cat flap. Can a cat flap be fitted into the glass itself or does it have to go in a door frame?
