We've got ceramic wall tiles in the kitchen that are firmly stuck but we don't like the colour. Can new tiles go on top, or does the old layer have to come off first?
I am planning to tile my garden but I am unsure what type of tiler and what product in particular to purchase. It's a small garden with medium length grass. What type should I use and do you have any recommendations as to the best brands I should consider?
So I am currently pricing up a job . I'm just wondering if a day rate of £300 for me as a tiler and a labourer is an acceptable price. The job itself is literally on a small island over a rickety bridge with only foot access to the property. The job includes 2 slate floor and a full wet room with envelope floor and tiled upstands. There's 11 meters of slate and the wet room is a mixture of porcelain and tiny ceramics on the walls

How do I find out what the slip rate is of a tile product? Do most products come with this information? What is a good slip rate in terms of safety, convenience, standard, etc.? What is an average slip rate and what would you see as a poor or unacceptable slip rate in your opinion?
Why do I have drummy and loose tiles in my bathroom and what can be done about it?
I am planning to fit new ceramic tiles in my kitchen in replacement of some older tiles which have aged to the point where replacing them is necessary. I’d like to know what online stores in the UK you’d recommend to find the best ceramic tiles? How much will it cost me to purchase about 150 ceramic tiles? As for the work, what equipment will I need to perform the work? How can I safely and effectively remove old tiles and place down new ones?
Do you need to press floor tiles down hard into the adhesive when you lay them?
My shower tiles have changed colour. Why has this happened? How can I stop it happening again?
