Hi, How hard or expensive is it to get plumbing across a kitchen for an American style fridge/freezer?
I have heard that it’s essential to use lead-free solder to join copper pipes together? Why is this the case?

I would am moving house in August and the house that we are moving to needs a combination boiler fitted. I have been told that the pipework is fine and is the right size in shape/width. I would like to know how much it would cost to have one fitted for a small 3 bed semi ?
Recently had a full heating system put in, oil boiler, vented system, rads upstairs, UFH downstairs. System is losing pressure, plumbers have come back once and vented it and reset everything, a week later no pressure again. I have topped it up from filling loop, bled all rads. UFH is working fine. Can’t see any leaks, when I was filling up PRV was releasing air, but now I am stuck. Rads cold, slightly luke warm hot water, plumbers say air just needs to work its way through system. Any help to either push air quickly or get some heat into rads would be greatly appreciated

Is it normal for a block of flats to have just one overflow ? Affinity water have been called out because the overflow is dripping and by the mess of the wall it’s been leaking for some time. Water company have said it’s my flat that’s leaking due to my excessively high water usage. I live alone and in Oct I was usually 477 litres a day which is very high considering I’m out all day. However since Oct I’m now usually approximately 1200 litres a day which is crazy. Hence water company saying the leak is mine. I’m struggling to understand how it’s possible to use this much water and why there is only one overflow for a block flats. Any advise /help would be greatly appreciated.
