Intermittent dripping from boiler pipe outside

Question

I have a combo boiler and the pipe outside is connected to my drain pipe. Every so often I can hear water dripping into the drain pipe but not all the time. Is there a problem of is this normal? The pressure is ok on the boiler.

It’s normal it’s coming from the condensation pipe on boiler

Yes it's normal. It's just the condensing pipe letting off

Hello . I believe thats condense pipe - when boiler producing hot water or heating -thats normal process - however please make sure - the pipe termination is correct.

Based on your description, youre talking about the condense pipe, and that's totally normal, the condense trap inside the boiler drains when is full .

This sounds like the condensate pipe from your boiler - this is usually a white plastic pipe. If this is the case then its totoally ok.
