  • Where to put acclimatising floorboards when others are being removed

When it comes to wood floorboards acclimatising to a room, once the process is complete, where should I put the floorboards while the old flooring is being removed? I assume they’ll have to leave the room. Won’t that undo the benefits of acclimatising? Should they be moved around the room and simply kept out of the way of the removal work? I’m just trying to figure out how this can best be done. Thanks for your time.

    Pet friendly carpet spray

Are there any harmless products that I can spray on a carpet to deter my dog from peeing on it? He’s been toilet trained well but once in a while he just gets a bit hyper and sometimes pees on the floor and I don’t think he’s going to change. I’d like to find a product that could achieve the effect of making him not do this. Is there even a product for this? And I’d like one that’s harmless to people, my dog and the carpet.

    Floor issue removing pine slithers

Hi, I had my pine floorboards professionally sanded and the gaps filled in with pine slithers. I now hate the look with the filled in slithers - can these be removed? I feel so stupid as I agreed to get them done like this and it was also very expensive.
