How do we replace laminate flooring?

We had a click together vinyl plank floor installed a few years ago but our dog has damaged one of the planks. We do have some leftover planks but we're not sure how to remove and replace it as we didn't install it. Is it easy to do or should we ask for help?

"I would recommend getting someone to come fix it for you because it is old. however, if you feel confident you can also do it yourself by following guidance of an expert"

"You may need to remove the skirting boards to find the starting point and the finishing point of the room so then you can take up the panels to get to the damaged area then replace. ,, Hope this has helped. If you need any other assistance I'm happy to help"

"Start by removing the long side 1st, lift up and gently pull away and then the header or short side should also come away, obviously be gentle. Repeat until you reach the damage. As for replacing, best if you can either watch a YT video or look at the manufacturer fitting guidelines. Or just call in a professional floorlayer to do it for you..."

"Its easy to lay it, if you want all of it replaced, you get to take it all out, if it only a portion of it to be replaced, then you would have to remove from side up to the point you want it done. Note that every row, in order to remove, you would have to first lift it to fourty-five degree angle so it comes out without breaking it"
