Fix radiator valve

Question

Hi, the radiator valve in my bathroom is leaking. The flat is in a period converted house and there’s no separate control to turn off and just drain the water for the flat. There are 3 communal boiler in the building. I was told we probably need to drain all waters in the boiler in the communal boiler. With that in mind, I want to know how much it cost to fix my flat valve leaking problem?

Hi, it is just the valve should be hourly rate plus the valve cost, there is the different price of the valve. From £10 to £50. Hourly rate £90.

You probably looking around 140 if you get a local plumber make sure it is not a national company as they will charge the earth and then they will probably ring a local guy to do it for them.

Hello you can freeze the pipework and install valves as they enter your flat then you have control of the water and can carry out any repairs with minimal disruption in the future
