Fitting new frame and doors
We got 7 solid wood fire doors, internal doors that need installing. The only problem is that are existing doors are much bigger, so we need a door frame and new doors installing. How much would it cost to do all 7.
Plastic clamps and vices
Are the more plastic-looking clamps and vices anywhere near as good as metallic clamps and vices? If not, how much of a gap is there in their quality and expected longevity?

Hello everyone. I’ve seen these custom built bunk beds for my kids but I’m wondering if its cheaper or better to purchase ready made furniture or to hire a carpenter to build them? What will be more cost effective?
Can i nail into a roof truss?
Can I nail 1/4" plywood against the side of a roof truss to close a hole? Or is it better to use screws? Or can I use a combination of glue and some kind of fastener?

Rotten floorboards
Hi not sure which trade category this is, but we have rotten floorboards in our back downstairs room and also by the front door. Is replacing by floorboards or concrete the answer? Front room its only a few boards, also possible damp proofing. Many thanks
