How long will it take to replace a staircase and bannisters.
Internal door installation
The house I have is quite old and I am looking to have internal doors replaced unfortunately the sizes of doors I can purchase are quite a few cm too big and it's my understanding that you can only remove a small amount off doors to be hung. Would I need l to get new frames installed aswell or is there a way round this? Any feedback is appreciated as I am all ready to get it done but don't want to waste money purchasing doors that can't be fitted. Many thanks

Can i nail into a roof truss?
Can I nail 1/4" plywood against the side of a roof truss to close a hole? Or is it better to use screws? Or can I use a combination of glue and some kind of fastener?
