On average, what does a party wall surveyor charge per hour? And how long does their work usually take for that matter? Thanks!
Reconfiguring an extension
Hi, I am in the process of buying a house. The house has been extended, and there is a wall running through vertically through this extension (towards back of house). We are looking to knock out the majority of this wall (imagining need structural engineer, potentially beam installed) We would then be looking at adding in two small rooms (a downstairs small WC and small utility) and add a new kitchen into this. On top of this we will likely need to replace flooring. Given the reconfiguration I also could assume we would need to work with an electrician to ensure we have new sockets in the right places etc. The two rooms to knock through into each other are approx 7.5m x 3.4m & 5.8m x 2.2m Has anyone encountered similar jobs and know a rough ballpark on what I can expect cost wise & anything I haven’t considered? Thanks in advance

cost of fitting a pressured-treated softwood decking in an area of roughly 15 square metres
I would like to have pressured-treated softwood decking fitted in my back garden. I currently have a garden of 40 square metres and it is entirely covered by real grass with the exception of a small garden shed. We’d like to have the decking fitted just beyond the back door and covering an area of about 15 square metres. What total cost can I expect for this installation work from a professional decking fitter? That is between both labour and supply costs.

I have 2 internal archways that i think were doors once upon a time, i want to change this so they're square doorways with frames. Currently they're just archways with no frame or anything. How much would i be looking at for labour and materials?
