Its important to mention that although yes, you can, its not the best idea and could be more costly for you in the long run.

The decking itself and the structural foundation beneath it will need to be sound to start with but over time moisture can be trapped between the artificial grass and timber of the decking. With restricted airflow, wood rot can accelerate, mold can begin to grow and the surface can become un even.
