    Can insulation materials attract mice?


    Can insulation materials attract mice and other animals? How can I tell whether any given insulation material or/and product will have this effect?

    "Well anything can attract mice and animals I wouldn’t say insulation wouldn't make it any worse."

    "Mice have been known to chew through electrical wires, fiberglass insulation batts, and rigid foam insulation. Generally, mice have no attraction to spray foam insulation, as it doesn't represent a food source."

    "Rodents including rats seem to like fiberglass and rockwool they use it to line their nests. They have also been known to take it to nearby locations to use as materials for nests. Spray foam insulation has been proving to be the best insulation to deter rodents"
