Sharing neighbours scaffolding

My neighbour is having scaffolding put up on his roof. He's saying I could go 50/50 on the cost to have my chimney checked at the same time as it looks like it needs repointing
If I used my own roofer to do the job would they be ok with using another contractors scaffolding?
Hope someone s able to let me know.

"No because the contract would be liable if anything happened to ur roof"

"Hi there. That’s an understandable question but in my opinion that is absolutely fine. As long as the neighbour is happy and the scaffolding is adequate I see no problems with that. Hope this helps. Many thanks

"As long as the scaffolding firm does a good job and provides a safe working environment, I can't see why not. I wouldn't have any issue with this propasal"

"Hi Angie
If the scaffolding is put so that both chimneys can be accessed yes I would personally use the scaffolding to complete the work you require"

"Hello 8 out of 10 roofers will be be perfectly fine with this.

However, larger companies have to adhere to health and safety more strenuously, so they have to be more conscientious off their workforce"

"If you’re paying 50% of the scaffolding you have the right to use any roofer you like."

"I can't see why it would be a problem, along as the scaffoldings don't mind them using it, it makes our job safer with the Scaffolding there, so I think as a roofer, they should be happy that there is scaffolding up to look at it, let alone do the job. AJ Roofing"

"Yes most roofers would be fine with that. Best to check with your roofer anyway."

"If your 50/50 there shouldnt be a problem how ever you would need to organise with your roofer and next doors to ensure everyone isnt on scaffold at the same time- just to be polite"
