"Boiling water will not remove lead
If you believe you have higher than normal amounts you should contact environmental health.
If it because you have lead pipes in your home then this can and should be replaced."

    "Lead killed the Romans .
Check your water mains where it comes into the property as old lead pipe should be removed .
A leadlock is a compression fitting that will fit on the old lead pipe to convert the next pipe to copper or plastic .
You can contact your local water board supplier of the outside main from the main service pipe is old lead pipe and they may replace for you .
You say boil lead .Why ?
People used lead pipe for years and lived long lives ."
