best time of year to paint exterior of house

What is the best time of day to paint the outside of a house? Does it depend on the time of year?

"The best time to paint the outside of any property is always the beginning of the new spring season March/ April. This will give it a lot of time for the paint to bake on for the coming winter season.
Or if you prefer, the slight ending of the summer season, September.

It`s never the best time to paint the exterior of your property in the winter."

"You can paint a house at any time of the year. But the best time for painters is definately summer time. If you paint a house in the rain then obviously the paint is going to run abit. Paint it in the sun then it dries nicely and you get a nice tan"

"Best time is spring, late summer, early autumn. Basically it needs to be warm enough for the paint but not too hot that it's driestoo fast."

"The best time is July August September as there is not to much rain plus it is warm followed by April may June and October do not do exterior painting in any other month as if it goes below 5 degrees you will have problems"

"The best time of year to do external paint work to a house is spring to summertime, start in the morning & check the weather to make sure there’s no rain forecast."

"The best time would be late spring once the sun is up longer, give the external paintwork time to dry. Good to prep all poor areas and give the walls a good external sealant.

Hope this helps in your planning.

"You can paint anytime of year as long as its not raining as the rain will make the paint run as its water based.
