Best roof for reliable drainage

Which type of roof tends to have the most reliable drainage? And why?

"It not the roof tiles or anything that really matters . but the workmanship that really matters in the end and obviously the gutters making sure the water runs right from tiles to gutters and there no gaps in tiles and such so get whatever style tiles you want just make sure the workmanship is done correctly and the gutters can take the drainage correctly"

"Hi Jenny, all roofs are good these days I like the double Roman roof tiles a bit stronger than the rest with a longer life span and slot in together quite well and easy to replace if damaged."

"Slate roof as it would be pitched with a gutter and drain system at the bottom"

"Pitched roof is the best. the higher the pitch the better the water will run off of the tiles."
